Hello.
Is there a way for a client to quit a group and join a new group?
My coworker who used to own my team’s Husarnet network group has quit my company and I can’t contact him.
I tried making a new group and let my PC to join the group but it failed due to timeout.
I guess my PC need to quit the previous group in order to join a new group.
Would you let me know if there’s any solution for this situation?
Hi
You can create new Husarnet identity (and effectively leave group) use following commands:
sudo -i
systemctl stop husarnet
rm -rf /var/lib/husarnet
systemctl start husarnet
exit

Thank you for the reply.
I have tried it but it ended up with the same result: failed to join the new group due to timeout.
Make sure you have not exceeded your account device limit.
To manage your devices go to app.husarnet.com and then look under Elements
tab.
If you don’t know your limit you can check it under Account Dropdown -> Settings -> Basics
.
